First soccer match!

Ah, first kick of the ball for 1 year +.

Last soccer game
Dated feb 2007! WTF

Took red bull and applied yoko yoko so i did last more than 1 half till they subbed me out.

Team play: 1 of the most interesting team i played for so far. No natural GK and no natural defender. Any through ball will give opposition a 1-1 situation. Any shot on target will relate to a goal. Guess they need their first choice GK who is not at the game.

final score is 6-4. Now you can understand how is defence for both teams. :D

I score the first goal. Direct kick in from a corner kick. I heard things like "did he aim for shot or cross?" I don't dare to answer, it's just not the first time i scored a goal like this. ahha

Had a good warm up before the game. I am still able to kick with both my feet, just that i do not dare to use more strength for right leg. At 1 point of the game, i felt my right quads is going to cramp. Guess i have to keep fixing the problem, if not, i have to retire from soccer again. aha

Overall fitness: passable. Except that i do not run for ball, i did a few runs, but 0 pass to me. :/

Overall ball feel: not bad, pretty good, can improve.

Do i fit into the team? I don't think so. :( I play center mid with 4-3-3. I don't even know my role.

Will i play again? Sure, just go and have fun.

Did i enjoy the game? Not after we conceed the 5th goal and put the game out of reach.

1 really strange dream...

I dreamt that i am in NS again! ahhhhh

Rush to wait, wait to rush. Never-ending!

I am in sispec when 2ic of charlie coy is reading the RO. My name is mentioned sth sth that 1 board is interested in me and i may get posted out! (HO SEH LA) I noticed that I am called CTJ instead of 3sg Chia. LOL

Then strange thing, when everyone is having dinner at level 1!! I just have to go to the bunk to get some stuff.

While everyone's bed is so tidy, but mine is so untidy. All admin stuff are poured just onto my bed. (Or that may not be mine)

picking up my soccer boots again

ah, been more than a year since i last played soccer.

i'm joining bryan for a training session tomorrow and then a game next friday evening.

definitely cant expect myself to play well, but wth, just go and enjoy the game.

regarding my job, it's good. well paid, rewarding when clients progress. slack in day time, having a few sessions here and there and work only at night and on weekends.

doing things i love and earning money sounds good. but i'm working when friends are having fun. i need company and support. working in this line is not for me at the moment.

i would rather earn lesser and still have a good life. :)

Here's a little on my soccer history.
I'm still a noob up till sec 3. Will either play GK or left back for any team. (a position which most dont want to play)

Then slowly, i rise to a mid fielder and striker. (not saying defender is nothing but i'm better in attack)

Chance come when i entered YJC.

The team is damm strong (Champion material) and somehow, i got into the first eleven. Starting every match till the final, oops, i mean 3rd/4th placing.

Best thing about me? LISTEN WELL melvin, worm, pa and soccer friends.
I'm not that good la, just able to run, able to make THROUGH pass, whip in some crosses and score from long range. (AHHA, i remembered this is how i intro myself to the team)

Though i score 0 goal in the tournament, but i did score a few long ranges during friendlies. Still remembered the curling grounder against hcjc and aha, we never lost when i score.

I gave the first assist in our tournament! A curling cross from right flank for bird to score. hehe

ahhhh, those are the times. No worry about money, just keep playing soccer.

Led YJC during my 3rd year, but we are out in the first round.

YJC then formed a team which i still played for during my NS time. But after mr raj got injured and stop organising for the team, the team disbanded.

Played for a few teams now and then. Liteace club and FBT.

Somehow, still play a vital role for these 2 teams.

Home workout

1 of my friend has been asking me for home workout. Will do a quick write up first.

I will first name a few exercises which you can do at home with bodyweight (BW) or very light weight.

Pull up & variations such as power pull
push up & variations such as clapping push up
squat & variations such as jump squat
lunges & variations
single leg deadlift
row
overhead pressing
burpee

Just find a few exercises and combine them into a circuit fashion (with or without any rest in between) and you will have your home workout.

The interesting thing is, for most people who are unfit and want to lose weight, they are unable to perform most (if not all) the exercises named above.

It's always not fun to workout if you have limitations. (limited flexibility, mobility, stability and strength)

So what's the first step? Getting there. You do not need perfect flexibility, mobility etc. You just need to reach a decent level.

So start off with all these warm up stuff.
SMFR
Stretching
Mobility exercises
Some core exercises

When you are better, learn hip movement and start deadlifting away.

The real fun workout start when you can
Deadlift/squat 1.5x BW
Bench BW
pull up x 10
etc

That's when workout will get real tough and challening.

Here's 1 example of a very short and effective for a metabolic workout.

Leg matrix
24 squat
24 lunges
24 jump squat
24 jump lunges

My timing is ~2:30 if i'm not wrong.
Best timing i "heard" is 2 x leg matrix in under 3 minutes.

If you cannot squat/lunge, it's usually weak conditioning and poor mobility in ankle etc.
If you cannot jump, gotta start with some reactive training to learn how to land.

Once you are good with strength/endurance and landing, you are good to go.

Start of new life!

I have been slacking for too long. I definitely won't go far at this level. I will need to improve myself. Before i can take on to higher level with others, i will need improve my own body.

Weight: 68kg
Skinfold measurement
Thigh, abs, chest all less than 10mm.

:::Strength:::
Deadlifting 120kg, hook grip no round back.
Front squat 110kg
3 x BW + 20kg pull up for sets

:::Level 1 goal (easiest):::

Weight: 72kg
Skinfold measurement
Thigh, abs, chest all ~10mm.

:::Strength:::
Deadlifting & front squat with proper form. (No mix grip for deadlift, may consider lifting strap)
Deadlift: 2.1x BW ~152.5 kg (round up)
Squat: 2x BW = 145kg (round up)
3 x bw + 27.5kg pull up for sets

Let's hope i am able to reach level 1 asap.

motivation level back high!

weeeee...

cbox is unlocked. i hope the taggers will be mature enough not to make fun of people's gf or what so ever.

i am skinny, i never go around saying that i am big. i am only 69kg, i never go around teaching people how to gain mass to 80kg, but only helping skinny people to gain mass to 60+kg, which they will be thrilled with this result too.

if you still wish to include criticism in my blog, maybe you want to take a look at yourself first. i have see how some bodybuilders train their clients, did i go and comment their training is not suitable for their clients? no, i will never approach other clients. likewise, i hope all trainers will give me some respect here. but i'm glad that my clients prefer to stick with me.

worse, you have no knowledge or body to show. so, instead of being a keyboard warrior, go and do something to your life.

if you are someone we know, go and look at the mirror again. so what if you have compete in bodybuilding before? your legs are... you gotta work more on them.

How much your character worth? & randoms

The world is definitely changing, it's getting more and more fucked up - including me. I am not a saint, i am a fucker too.

Come to think of it, people will reveal their real character when it comes to money or girls (for guys).

I had a deal agreed with this guy. I am buying his supplement for $70 and i will be collecting it from him personally. Price, location and item all set. I got a msn from him the next day that he is selling $80 to another person. Bravo, this shows that his character may be worth $10. But come to think of it, he's a student etc etc. The new buyer is someone i know too. Oh well, at least he informed me in advance.

-Agree on price. During meet up, buyer asked for more discount etc etc.

This is 1 of the worst. So ma fan. Waste time and money for meet up and then say want extra money. Pui.

-Dishonest seller.
There's fault with items selling but never declare.

There are a lot more but i have not encounter them yet. Lucky me.

Anyway, let's talk about fat loss or muscle gain.

There are lots of way to get your ideal figure. You just need 1 thing: hard work.

Even if i were to give a good training program, there's no use if you dont put in the effort. We can train 3 times a week, that's about 3 hours weekly. Is this good?
Not too bad i suppose.
But by the time i see a fault, you will need a few minutes daily to rectify it. The key is frequency, not really about of time in a session. You will be better off with 5 minutes daily and 1 hour each week in 1 session.

Workout is tough, it's never easy. Sometimes, i get a little frustrated by lazy questions.

-Can i do hiit 4 times weekly (around 6 minutes each time) and lose 7kg?

He's my ex-client, i am not a trainer who will turn my back on your when you are not paying me anymore. But well, i explained so many times to him during our PT already.

sigh sigh sigh

There are no fat people, just lazy people.

Think muscle = money and fat = debt.

Can you get money without working? If you can, good for you.

Regarding money, if you have no plan to pay up, just say it. I can write it off and know so much about you. There's no need to delay, excuses like busy etc are just dumb. How much time do you need to pay up? hours?

I will be deciding my career path after i attend level 1 next month.

I have clients with different trainers, most of the trainers can say a lot of things, but some of them are still lazy - never bother to give better training program or improve form during workout. I am not saying i am perfect, i am another human. If any client turns me off, i rather terminate the package (return money etc) and dont see you better. I don't feel good earning money while watching you wasting time in training.

If you are lazy, just admit it. Don't try to make yourself look good.

All things bottling up in me are out now.

Feel much better. I am not a saint, don't think of me as someone who do what i say. I don't train frequently nowadays, i take 1 week break twice for the past month already.

But when i train, it's like a few of your training sessions (in an hour). Don't ask me why am i blessed etc. I take care of my body 24/7. Not just in the gym.

I try not to slouch, i wont go and screw up my posture, i dont eat junk daily, i have adequate rest nightly, i smfr frequently again, i eat well, i eat more (than those who cannot gain weight), i eat less (than those who cannot lose weight).
