what i am doing today

really random post, this shows how bored and free i am now.

Looking out at the window, there's no sun, cannot go tanning. Maybe i can go wash the car first. Make it sparkling clean for the new year. After waxing the car last week, it's really much cleaner now, even after rain. The body of the car feels smooth!

I'm supposed to have my little holiday all the way till 5th 2009. But i have 2 work sessions today.

1 is with 1 irregular client who i need to train whenever possible. Another is a new client, gotta teach him as much SMFR today as possible so that he has more time to do SMFR himself, making my job easier to train him.

The before & after of car waxing.

For those who are lazy to groom their car very often but want this kind of showroom effect with least effort and if you can afford 2 hours a month to care for you car, you should get the meguliar (spelling) tech wax 2.0.

This wax is more expensive at $40++ but it's very easily applied. Easy on Easy off.

The good thing is that you can use it for more than 6 months if you know how much to use. hehe

1 more thing, do not use any cheapo cloth. Use at least a micro waver cloth or something, cost ~$5/piece those type. It doesnt leave any hair or dust after wiping 1. I got 3 at $12 at esso (up 15/3 pieces). 1 to dry car, 1 to remove wax, another for car's interior.

ahhh, if i am not lazy and want to make a nice post, will do a nice post on this another time. 2 hours a month is all you need to maintain showroom condition. Of course, confirm cannot beat those who wax very often 1 la.

Room

ahh, my room feels so much more comfortable now. it's neater, free from mess.

wanted to sell off my speakers set too. got a buyer and he's coming to my house.

took my speakers for some cleaning and i discovered a problem with 1 of the satelite speakers. 

but i'm fine with this too. it will be a waste if i were to sell off this wonderful speaker at $100+.

Back from my break

I'm back from genting. 

Do nothing but eat, sleep, casino while i'm over there. Needless to say, i lost ~1k RM over there. 

Lost 500 in the first hour in the first night already. Then slowly, i played till i lost 100 only on the last night. Till i was bored, i went to try something funny and well, losing steak from then on till i was absolutely convinced that it's impossible to win big from casino.

Treat casino trip as leisure. You will definitely need to prepare a "budget" to lose, once you lose it, leave there. ahah

I wanna share the story of 3 guys i saw/heard there.

1st by my cousin. He was playing jackpot when a guy went over to beg for money to make a trip home. Lose till no money to take a bus, so ke lian!

2nd: this guy won at least 10k from the tai sai table. I saw him making a move away from the table, this is a wise choice. 

30min later, he was back and he exchanged cash for chip again. It's quite wtf right? lost more than 10k within 1 hour.

3rd: I saw this guy winning a lot of chips at 1 table. He never stop...... i saw him taking out lots of cash now and then later from his pouch. From a laughing and smiling face to a sad 1.

Have been sick for a real long time now, will take time to recovery. Will probably start training in 2009. Dec is a good month to slack and relax.

Curtain blind

installed curtain blind, or is it just called blind? yesterday. 

I got the total black out one. My idea is to have a total black out room so that i can sleep even better. But f*ck! Due to the window placement, wall layout in my room, it's impossible to do this. The blind has been installed to best placement but there will still be lights coming into the room into the gap.

Oh well, but at least my room look more modern now and the middle part really block out everything.

I do really sleep better last night. Usually, i don't feel so well rested with 7 hours of sleep. I do sleep very well last night, i have 3 dreams! Can't remember the first 2, but last 1 is weird, it's about my parents. I'm praying for them through guan yin.

I think i must really stop eating beef now. 

i got a macbook

13.3" screen macbook white.

it's considered brand new, the owner used it for a week and she's selling off because she is not used to mac.

i got it at a steal $1k!!! @ hwz forum.

other people are all selling 1.2 - 1.3k for uncollected macbook or top up 500 for the alu version.

200-300 discount for 1 week use is very good. ahha

i took some pic to compare the size of the screen but i need time to explore more about mac first.

first try, it sucks man, so unlike pc.

now? great!

there's spaces which allow me to work on "4 desktops"

there's expose where i can see all windows at 1 go.

there's adium, which is like msn, but not so good la. hahha

there's email which is like outlook.

there's a lot a lot more. 

after fixing things like installing some programs, it will work as well as window and even better. ah well, gotta find out more before i blog more about this.

oh yar, my 20" lcd screen and old desktop is sold at a very cheap price too - $250. heh

desktop is down!!

My desktop has been showing me BSOD 10/10 times i tried to boot it up. I will be too lazy to fix it for now, will be getting something new.

I'm considering between a desktop and laptop.

DESKTOP
I can use my current 20" widescreen, keyboard and mouse and speakers. Good screen, big screen etc etc, but lots of messy wires and give me lesser space.

LAPTOP
I am using a 14.1" display laptop now, well, it's big, definitely big enough for my usage because i just surf the web and check emails etc. 12" may be a bit too small from my previous laptop. 13"? gotta try first.

My choice......

A laptop. I am moving away from desktop now. I don't want so many wires!!!

but heh, i think it may be my hdd or ram problem, let me try to fix it when i'm free tomorrow. Too darn busy today.

life is good~~

coz i drive a swift. aha, but seriously...

1) i'm having a steady source of income
2) i have a nice family
3) i have close friends who are not fair weathered..
4) a nice girlfriend, "wife to be"
5) i'm driving a swift!

Just a few things which i'm can get sad sometimes.

Too busy with work, i don't have time for gf and friends.
Too busy with business, oh, i have 1 current business and i'm setting up another 1 by end of this month with 1 more possible business in 2009.

My goal? I want to have enough money to spend for the rest of my life without putting in too much man-hours of effort to make the money. heh

Once my shop is set up, i will make an announcement here.

As for SIM, i applied too late, i cannot get in, they offered me night classes which i have to consider very carefully because i work at night most of the time. hmmmm....
