First Time in Planet Fitness

Went to planet fitness at far east square today after lecture. Upon reaching there, we present our "temp" membership cards. They issued us with 2 towels each. 1 large 1 small.
There's free lockers etc etc etc.

After changing we went to the free weight areas. Alamak, i'm so swakoo can? So many DBs, heaviest is 100 lbs each.

I tried benching, heaviest i went today is 60lbs./6reps.
Lats pulldown, seated row, legs press, standing calves raise.

That's all, i went pretty heavy for all.

1 of the floor trainer approaches us and we went to took our body composition test.

I'm pretty fat leh.. kaoz.

hahas, anyway, i was once very lean and toned and tanned and hunky. that's the only period when i go thru a serious cutting phrase. to lose a lot of body fats and retaining all my muscles.
my only regret, i never took a pic of me at that period of time. i found 1 blur pic. the guy @ left = me.

Basic exercise course

Had this aerobic session this morning with barely 2 hours of sleep the previous night. ARGH. i wonder how people keep up with the tempo and actions of aerobic. It's so darn difficult can?

gonna update more on BEC other time. I realised that lots of people are doing the wrong stuff in the gym. Even though those huge guys have their own mistakes.

No wonder the fitness industry is thriving.

I think, with the correct training method, i can target my muscle more properly from now on?

Target: Training 7 days a week. 2-3 sessions at the gym, the rest i give myself 30 minutes at home to train some other body parts. Maybe i can hit 70kg with lower body fats %. woot!

On the road.

first week of school, i do see a few new drivers from the school. Driving new cars with the famous P plate. heh. gratez to them getting their licenses and new cars.

but, gratez to me too for getting in 0 road accident so far. *touch wood* & having a clean driving record. please dont count those parking summons which i got & that 1 incident which i barely passed my breath analyser test.

I was driving home just now when i encouter this accident. never really see what's happening, but i just see those few cars in front of me slowed down very fast. while driving past this accident, i decided to take a pic. (with my third hand) *muack*



Just thinking, if i were to be on the road like 15 sec earlier, i will be the one stopping and assisting this biker up. i think u cant see much pain from this pic, but if u were to see his motion, u will goooo WTF!

So.... some advices for these new drivers.
1) take note of your surroundings while driving.
eg: the number of bike/car around you and their moving speed.

2) DO signal early before changing lane. At least for 2 10? sec IMO.

3) If u were practicing point no 1, u will have a much easier time during lane changing.

4) When squeezing between 2 cars while lane changing, please adjust ur speed to their speed! dont let any of the car do any braking just to let u squeeze in.

5) (with lane 1 = right most lane)
watch out for other lanes while lane changing, not only those 2 lanes which u r involved in.
eg: u r changing lane from 1 to 2, watch out for cars changing from 3 to 2.

6) DO check your blind spots. You dont wanna get into accident, esp banging into a bike.

7) driving within the speed limit. it's the general speed anyway, dont go hogging lane 1 at 90kph when all cars are moving at 110kph

8) dont think u r not doing road hogging at 70kph on a 70kph road COZ, refer to point 7.

9) Never tailgate. u dont know when the fucker in front is going to sabo u.

10) all other points which i have no time to type out.

all in all, road experience is a tricky thing. people with 20 years of driving experience can do stupid things at times. hmmmmm, try to have lane discipline at all times. except when u r encountering road hoggers, smoke them!

1 sentence PA said to me yesterday "u r just capped by ur van, if u were to drive ur integra... blah blah blah"

i just feel crippled only when i'm on the expressway.. LoL doing 70kph on expressway can make u fall asleep. REALLY

i'm ready for school.

There's no more printing services from my class. Old printer is down with dont know what disease. I have decided to get a new printer! Went to SLS after class and went scouting for a printer. I wanna buy something cheap, real cheap, that has all functions, and the cost per print is low.

A question from me to the salesperson "the black ink costs $29, can agar agar print how many pages?"
He "Less than 100 pieces"

I just diam diam walk away. Stupid idiot. If that's the number, no people will colour these printers anymore la.

Anyway, i went back to the shop and decided to get Brother dcp130c for $140. (Quoted by 1 of the people, who then went for lunch break when i decided to buy)

He asks me "do u know the price?"
I said i dont know so that maybe he can give me a even cheaper price.
He tells me $148 sia.. Stupid la..
lol, he says it's impossible to give me $140, they will be making a lossssss..
oh yeah? if $148 is profit. $140 is a loss, they are earning less than $8 for a printer sold, how bad the economy is right now. LOL

Anyway, i got it at $140 in the end.

yay, now i got all my notes printed, and organised into 1 file for each module. i'm ready for school!


I thought i saved $8, but the parking fees at SLS for 2hours plus is $6.04. *faint*
I went people park center to run errand, the parking fee is $4.40.

Errr, parking alone costs me $10 for today. Sigh, i'm really dry liao... i need some cash boast!

My sunday

I woke up 645 early in the morning for lifesaver's course. i sleep like 3am the night b4? playing an insane number of solitaire showdown with someone. i lost to her like 11,19? I dont know why she's so fast la, but i think it's because there's slight lag, so i will lose out once in a while. There was 1 game, which both of us cleared all our cards at the same time, but i lost 77-78 la!

Anyway, take bus to worm's house for breakfast. (i ate at home also!) we reach the classroom pretty early. the trainer was pretty lame, lots of lame and funny jokes.
2 highlights.
1) the trainer was talking about how to identify a dead/alive person by looking at finger nails. some aruged that there's nail paints, so we cannot identify, so the trainer said we can look at the lips too. then this aunty said "like that indian all sure die la.." hahah she's pretty racist.

2) we were supposed to tap the dummy's shoulder to check for respond. but this over zealous guy tapped so hard that the head of the dummy falls out!! LOL

Next week is last week of attachment liao. It's very slack for me!
Mon) I have dental appointment at 2pm, when my work starts at 2
Tues) Going back to HQ at 11am, will end by 1pm, so i need to report back to yishun at 6pm!

HAZE-ache

The haze craze is back again. I went for an interval training this afternoon, the air is still pretty good.

It was real bad during supper just now. Visibility isnt really good, eyes are a little bit pain when i wear contact lens, the air is smelly.. yucks!

Is it a good business to sell mask now?

A new arrangement = a new beginning!

I have rearranged my room AGAIN. I went for more space this time. This arrangement is actually a desperate move, so as to accommodate all my stuffs. But there's plus to it. It's neater and more spacious now. I can enjoy real cool aircon when i'm in the room.

San Lou at Taman Pelangi, Jalan BIru. Their specality is their fried bee hoon.
Ultra nice. We order chilli crabs, ceral prawn, black pepper deer meat,
& some other dishes which i forget what is it liao. Overall, around $10SGD/head!

Then we go shopping around. It was 9plus liao all shops are closing. So we choose to go cold storage. lol, shampoos, conditioners, shavers, etc etc.. all cheap cheap.. no wonder singaporeans like to go JB to shop la.

1 funny incident: which shows how good temper my clique is.
We were in this que at msia custom back to singapore. we were chatting happily when 1 uncle stands beside me. when the que is moving, i haven look at him ah, then he says this to us "u all keep talking, dont know u all in which que. so i stand here 1 hor, u all better que properly" then he raise his left hand which shows us some tattoo.
is he looking for trouble? there's a few of us who can easily thrash the hell out of him. but then, we are still at msia, so we relax relax la.. then he still doesnt want to let go of this incident he says again "next time hor, que properly hor, dont keep talking can?"
